Braintree, Mass.- Summit Healthcare, a leader in healthcare system integration and task automation, today announced a new partnership with Memorial Hospital of Converse County (MHCC), a 25 bed critical access hospital located in Douglas, Wyoming. With MEDITECH as its primary healthcare information system and its successful migration to the 6.0 platform, Memorial Hospital of Converse County was looking to further its interconnectivity while controlling integration costs. In order to meet its immediate and future interoperability goals, MHCC has chosen to leverage Summit Healthcare’s Express Connect interface engine technology and integration management services.
Recently named among the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) in America by the National Rural Health Association, Memorial Hospital of Converse County provides a comprehensive array of services from family health care to general surgical and specialty care. MHCC was looking to partner with one integration company with a proven track record of success to help maximize its interface interconnectivity. By implementing Summit Express Connect, MHHC will be able to eliminate redundant ADT, Orders and Results interfaces and quickly recoup interface costs by leveraging exists feeds.

Memorial Hospital of Converse County also engaged Summit Healthcare in its integration outsourcing services in order to better develop and manage complex interfaces with third party systems. In particular, MHCC is working to integrate with Avera Health’s eICU solution in order to better transmit patient vital signs monitoring data into its hospital information system. With Summit’s interface engine in place, MHCC will be able to enhance the integration of patient monitoring data into MEDITECH, without multiple point-to-point HL7 feeds and unprecedented additional costs.
