About the Position:
The Client Services Software Engineer position will be responsible for the implementation of Summit Healthcare's Apex Suite of products in delivering solutions for the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate technical information while working effectively with clients, be able to create integration solutions from available tools and resources, and capable of working closely with a team of engineers. This candidate must be a self-starter who is highly organized, detail oriented and self-disciplined with the ability to work within all levels of our business.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Primary
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc)Experience with Microsoft .NET or at least two other programming language
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot network communication issues found with common communication protocols (TCP/IP, Sockets, Webservices, Folder deliveries)
- Coding errors using Visual Studio or a similar toolset
Familiarity with the following is a plus:
- HL7 and non-HL7 interfaces
- Knowledge of Meditech, McKesson, Siemens, or other HCIS software
- VBScript
Web applications Healthcare IT experience
