About the Position:

As a Business Development Manager for Summit Healthcare Services, Inc. you will be responsible for selling healthcare software products and services to the Healthcare vendor market. Summit Healthcare is focused on expanding our business through aggressive pursuit of strategic vendor partnerships. This role requires knowledge and Sales experience within the healthcare and/or healthcare information technology markets.

This is an exciting time to become a member of the Summit Healthcare Team as we are a privately owned company that has continued to experience stable growth since its inception in 1999!

This candidate must be a self-starter who is highly organized, detail oriented and self-disciplined with the ability to work within all levels of our business. This position will require at least 25% travel time meeting with prospective buyers, attending conferences, networking events, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Primary

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 3-5 years proven performance selling software solutions and services within the healthcare market. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who works well alone and with teams and has extensive experience managing a sales territory and building a pipeline.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding quota in a new business setting in the healthcare or IT industry.
  • The candidate must possess superior communication skills, problem solving/analytical capabilities and presentation skills, while being a competent writer and a person that can think "out of the box" strategically and tactically.
  • Deliver sales presentations to C-level clients and at technical buyer’s level.
  • Experience and diligence using CRM systems.

Familiarity with the following is a plus:

  • Have knowledge and experience selling to the MEDITECH Market
  • Have knowledge and experience selling into the healthcare vendor market(B2B Sales focus)
  • Sales experience specifically with Integration and Automation software tools or solutions to Healthcare audiences.
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM
