About the Position:
In this position you will be responsible for the implementation of healthcare solutions utilizing HL7 interfaces, the Summit Scripting Tool Kit (SST), and custom applications. You must possess the capability to create and document conceptual and detailed designs along with the development of code based on design and comprehensive business logic. This position requires a self-starter who is highly organized, detail oriented and self-disciplined with the ability to work within all levels of our business (internal and external). The success of the individual in this role will be measured based on the timely and accurate completion of projects, thorough and timely communication of issues and the ability to work cohesively within the Summit Healthcare team as well as with our client base. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and execution skills.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Primary
- MS VB.NET and/or VB.Script, C# – in-depth knowledge and experience in programming
- XML
- MS Access, SQL Server
- HL7 and non-HL7 Interfaces
- Meditech and McKesson Software
- Communication protocols (TCP/IP, Sockets, Webservices, SFTP)
- InstallShield Professional (installation of SQL, BizTalk 2002-2009, various operating systems including cluster and virtual environments, virtual machines)
- MS Windows XP, Vista etc…

Minimum Qualifications
- College or University Bachelor’s degree
- Three years of related experience in the software industry related to primary areas listed above
- Healthcare experience is a definite plus
