This 199 bed non-profit, acute care community hospital currently runs the McKesson STAR Healthcare Information System.
After an extensive evaluation and rigorous search process, St. Barnabas Hospital will be installing the Summit Scripting Toolkit (SST) to streamline and automate their workflow needs in the Business Office. St. Barnabas is currently posting manual monthly adjustments which dramatically impact the efficiency of the department and staff. They are also using SST to apply standard notes, flag accounts for bad debt, rebill accounts and have future plans to post charges. St. Barnabas Hospital saw an immediate need for a flexible and versatile tool to automate these time-consuming and manual tasks.
