St. Barnabas Hospital Chooses the Summit Scripting Toolkit for their Business Office Workflow Automation Needs

BRAINTREE, MA - Summit Healthcare, a leader in healthcare system integration, today announced a new partnership with St. Barnabas Hospital, a full service Level I Trauma Center in Bronx, NY. This 199 bed non-profit, acute care community hospital currently runs the McKesson STAR Healthcare Information System.

After an extensive evaluation and rigorous search process, St. Barnabas Hospital will be installing the Summit Scripting Toolkit (SST) to streamline and automate their workflow needs in the Business Office. St. Barnabas is currently posting manual monthly adjustments which dramatically impact the efficiency of the department and staff. They are also using SST to apply standard notes, flag accounts for bad debt, rebill accounts and have future plans to post charges. St. Barnabas Hospital saw an immediate need for a flexible and versatile tool to automate these time-consuming and manual tasks.

Summit Healthcare has proven to be an extremely versatile tool in addressing our task automation needs in the business office. There are many manual processes that lend themselves well to the Summit Scripting toolkit. As a company, Summit has proven to be very responsive to our needs.
