Summit Scripting Toolkit allows HCS to customize scripts for its clients, eliminating the need for expensive custom interfaces and providing the company with a cost effective solution that allows it to extract data from any system, input data to any system, create real time or batch interfaces and automate routine data entry tasks. Through SST, Account Management Services (AMS), a division of HCS, uploads vendor comments and notes to its clients’ host systems, enabling them to automatically be informed about the activity on their outsourced accounts.
“This process cannot be done manually, so based on the host system that the hospital client uses, an expensive software or module of some sort would have to be purchased to perform this type of task,” explained Jeff Holloway, President of HCS. “We remove that burden from the hospital client and offer it as a part of our services, a process that is seamless and cost efficient to our clients.”

The second and final part of this process occurs with a script created to prelist the client’s accounts by using logic to determine what steps to take on each account based on its status. With SST, the AMS staff that previously spent hours on this process can now focus on other client service functions.
