Braintree, MA - Summit Healthcare, a leader in healthcare system integration and task automation, today announced it has entered into a multi-year Integration Outsourcing professional service agreement with Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital to maximize their investment in Summit Express Connect, a robust interface engine technology.
Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a premiere musculoskeletal care provider of outpatient, inpatient and therapeutic services. They are currently running the Meditech Healthcare Information System and interfacing with a variety of Other Vendor Systems such as Intellidot, Sybase, Fuji PACS, Sunquest LAB and Omnicell. In addition, to the Other Vendor Systems that require integration at the hospital level there is also a strategic IT initiative to integrate with Physician Offices running AllScripts and GE Centricity.
As mentioned above, Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital has agreed to a multi-year Integration Outsourcing contract to build over 40 new interfaces including HL7 integration and Non-HL7 integration (scripting) to integrate with their Other Vendor Systems and Physician Office Integration projects. Summit Healthcare will be providing full integration outsourcing professional services including project management, interface migration, interface building/ testing and communication between parties. Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital will participate in the integration efforts with the goal to eventually migrate all interface management work internally over the next 2-3 years.
