Braintree, Mass.- Summit Healthcare, a leader in healthcare system integration and task automation, today announced it has entered into an agreement with Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois to be their integration partner as they migrate to the MEDITECH 6.0 platform. Memorial Hospital, a 316-bed full-service medical center, will invest in the Summit Apex product suite to maximize integration, automation and dictionary management needs as they prepare for their migration.
Memorial Hospital realized that partnering with one integration company who had a proven track record of success in these areas would position them for a streamlined and secure 6.0 migration. At the core of the project is the Summit Express Connect interface engine which will enable Memorial to quickly recoup interface costs by leveraging a core set of HL7 interfaces from MEDITECH and eliminating duplicate feeds. Summit Healthcare’s MEDITECH 6.0 expertise will be a key factor in assessing the current interface environment and determining the interface cut over strategy to 6.0.
Rounding out the implementation of the Summit Apex Product Suite is the Summit Scripting Toolkit, a robust application for custom data migration and workflow automation that eliminates manual intervention during the Meditech 6.0 migration. Summit InSync will aid in dictionary management through careful test to live analysis and clean migration of data while the Summit Downtime Reporting System will ensure consistent access to critical data in the event of a MEDITECH or Network downtime.
