We have Summit Express Connect for our interface engine and have had extremely positive experiences with them. Four years ago we bought a single ADT interface feed from Meditech and have re-pointed it approximately 15 times to all sorts of other vendor software, devices, databases and downtime solutions. We have saved a ton of money and headaches by sending all of our interfaces through the Summit Healthcare interface engine. We also contract with them for Integration Outsourcing and they handle all of our interface programming. The dedicated Summit Healthcare engineer for us responds immediately, thinks proactively and always meets our deadlines. We have seen a huge savings by Outsourcing through Summit Healthcare. We have found it is less than the cost of an FTE to have Summit Healthcare handle all of the interface management especially when we are expanding and constantly adding new software and services. We have had Summit Express Connect since 2005 and the interface engine is amazing. We have 2 additional live ADT interfaces up and running for our electronic forms and fetal monitoring system. Our original ADT was from MEDITECH to Xtend (our phone system). These interfaces were both completed a month before MEDITECH had scheduled to begin the first. Summit Healthcare's promise to make the Express Connect fast and easy was true. As with all Summit Healthcare products, the support is unparalleled. Of course Print Manager will always be my first love, but Express Connect is running a close second. We are in the process of using the engine to develop another ADT interface as well as interfaces for inbound/outbound lab orders and results. It's great to be able to use Express Connect to set your own timelines for projects and not have to wait for available resources from other vendors.

We’ve been using Summit Healthcare’s Express Connect Interface Engine since March 2005 and have been very happy with it so far. We’ve connected integration between MEDITECH & Misys and started our PACS system integration initiative. This project was the first for SmartPACS to work with a MEDITECH C/S site. In our first phase we spent a total of 2 hours setting Summit Express Connect Integration Suite up and now have ADT, Orders & Results waiting and sending to SmartPACS. So, all-in-all things are smooth, and I'm content with the progress. We really appreciate the Summit Healthcare people. They are down to earth and easy to talk to, which is especially nice for a novice programmer such as me.

We are very pleased with Summit Healthcare and the solid performance of their Summit Express Connect and Summit Scripting Toolkit that we implemented in 2006. We develop in-house custom applications and have recently begun leveraging Microsoft BizTalk 2006 orchestrations. An Allergy viewer has been built from an existing ADT feed to group allergies entered in multiple Meditech modules. The Microsoft BizTalk Upgrade went smoothly and is an important accomplishment for our organization as we always strive to stay on the cutting edge of technology and like to apply advanced concepts to our standard and custom applications. Summit Express Connect powered by Microsoft BizTalk’s ability to do advanced filtering, easily apply business rules and logic as well as the full featured mapping capabilities have really made a huge impact on the success of our integration projects.
