Paul Actis joined Summit Healthcare over 10 years ago, as the Director of Software Development and was responsible for re-architecting Summit’s flagship product …the Summit Scripting Toolkit. In 2009, Paul was promoted to Vice President and CTO, overseeing all product development including the next phase of Summit Healthcare’s integration and automation product suite. In 2015, Paul spearheaded the development of the Summit Web and Summit Exchange platforms, allowing organizations to expand their interoperability reach and help meet Meaningful Use objectives. Earlier this year, Paul was promoted to Senior Vice President, continuing his focus on finding more effective ways of helping Summit clients integrate their data and concentrate on patient care.
Prior to joining Summit Healthcare, Paul was employed at Picis, responsible for leading development initiatives centered on their OR Manager Web Access, Client Access Center, and HL7 interface engine applications. Paul also worked as a Senior Application Engineer at MicroScript Corporation, where he lead multiple product releases, along with participating in implementation and training activities for both direct clients and VAR’s.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Bryant College.
