James Proctor

Director — Integration Services

James Proctor joined Summit Healthcare over 15 years ago, as a Support Analyst. In 2007, James was promoted to Support Supervisor, spearheading the Outsourcing program and establishing monthly objectives and expectations with several clients. In 2009, James transitioned to the Client Services department, taking a more active role in the implementation of software and best practices. He specialized in Vital signs and POC implementations, with a strong focus on HL7 based interfacing and conversions. In 2013, James took an active management role as Services Team Lead for the East Coast, heading up an effort to centralize and stream line services delivery. In 2018, James was promoted to Director, Integration Services and has sought to improve efficiency across all measures. In this role James is leading the efforts to employ the next generation of integration through Meaningful Use and the newest CMS Rulings, while ensuring a renewed focus on securing patient information.

Prior to joining Summit Healthcare, James was employed as a private consultant working on network configurations, wireless installation, and custom scripted solutions for existing software.

James holds an Associates of Science in Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University and is expected to complete his Bachelors of Science in Cybersecurity in early 2021.
