This year the Heart of MUSE recipient was Ability Connection Texas (ACT) located in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. For over 60 years, ACT has been providing care and support to people of all ages with disabilities of all types. Having the ability to provide a full range of services for people with physical and intellectual disabilities, as they strive to achieve independence is ACT’s leading mission.
The Heart of MUSE continues to be the epicenter of the MUSE International Conference every year where throughout the conference attendees and participants are given the opportunity to donate to the foundation. Summit Healthcare matched every donation made and this year the Ability Connection Texas foundation received a $2,780 donation to be used toward programs and events.
